Brown Sugar Banana Recipe

If you’ve made and enjoyed your smoothie(s) during the day and you have any leftover bananas then why don’t you have a go at making this very quick and simple banana dessert recipe.

Brown Sugar Bananas
2 medium sized bananas
1 large tbsp soft brown sugar
Juice from half an orange (or lime)
25g soft butter

Method

Kids will love this quick free banana recipe. Firstly thinly slice the bananas. Heat a large frying pan, when hot add the butter. Next add the sliced bananas and stir them in the butter for a few seconds until coated. Sprinkle the soft brown sugar over the bananas and remain stirring until the sugar starts to harden slightly. Next pour in the juice of the orange (or lime). When the froth (sizzling) calms down add the bananas and sauce to a large bowl and enjoy. These are great served with vanilla ice-cream, yummy!
